It's either extremely intelligent or completely bewildering from a designer's point of view to put your best content behind hours upon hours of game time, a very harsh level cap you need to surmount and a string of identical missions - but that's what makes Destiny such a stupidly fascinating game. Not in an overtly positive or negative sense - after all there are just as many supporters of Destiny's money-sucking ways as their are watchers from the sidelines frothing at the mouth. Instead the brass tacks of the matter is the design ethos; a filing cabinet of a game with the barest of structures both narrative or through game mechanics, elements slowly being slotted in across months of production. And what are the crown jewel of these possibilities? The Raids; innovative experiences best played with friends or companions you can put your faith in to watch your back. You'll tackle puzzles, stealth sections, unique bosses, level designs and more - but only if you first got on board with the game's repetitive nature, and then grind gear until they became available in the first place. What are your most polarising levels nobody can ever seem to agree on? Let us know in the comments, and check out the full gaming section for more!
