Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare - 12 Things Nobody Wants To Admit

9. Some Of The Multiplayer Challenges Are Ridiculous

This might seem like a small issue in the grand scheme of things, but the tiered multiplayer challenges are way more hassle than they're worth. Some of these are easy enough, requiring you to simply play the game, jump into different modes and get kills, but unlocking the final rewards of each tier - which usually amounts to a unique weapon - is a total grind.

The problem is that either the conditions require luck to achieve, or they'll force you into a playstyle for hours that just isn't fun. Being forced to get a bunch of kills quickly after reloading, for instance, can lead to bad behaviour where you spot someone, scramble to reload your weapon and then try to shoot them.

It's not conducive to enjoyable play, and feels frustrating when this is the only way to unlock interesting items (until the Battle Pass system lets you bypass this for real world money, anyway).
