1. All The Missing Multiplayer Modes

Easily the most disappointing aspect of Modern Warfare's online suite is how many classic modes are missing on launch, even if Infinity Ward has promised that more will be added in the near-future.

Fan favourite mode Kill Confirmed is surely the most bothersome omission, while the absence of Demolition, Hardpoint, Capture the Flag and many more is also a massive shame for launch weekend, especially with no timeline for them being added.

On the eve of the game's release, Infinity Ward also pulled the enjoyable night maps from rotation, and though the developer stated they'd be re-added at a "later date," that's no good for those who enjoyed playing the night-vision mode in the beta.

Of course, the online suite was always going to be a malleable product that's shaped over time, but even so, that these modes are apparently ready yet haven't been deployed day one, is totally baffling.

Modern Warfare's issues aside, though, it gets a lot right that future entries could certainly learn from...
