Comic-Con 2014: 10 Titles Every Gamer Wants To See

8. Batman: Arkham Knight

Who is the Arkham Knight? A question that is sure to either be answered - or suitably teased - by Rocksteady throughout Comic-Con, as their creation of a new masked villain has sent fan-theorists back to the drawing board over and over again. Could it be the Joker? Rocksteady confirmed his death was canon following the end of Arkham City. How about Thomas Wayne? The Red Hood? Hush? Everything's up for debate and nothing is confirmed outside of Scarecrow popping back on villain duties, and as for everything else concrete out there we've already assembled and dissected it, however what we haven't touched on is the best way for Batman to appease the Comic-Con fans in attendance. It goes without saying that we're going to see some form of Batman V Superman footage, be it even just a few seconds of Affleck and Cavill in costume sizing each other up, but what we need on the Arkham front is a strong showing of the villainous Knight himself; a voice sample, a shot of his face, anything that'll help narrow down who he( or she) is. That being said if we get more of the same shots that don't give anything away, only for that signature Mark Hamill Joker-laugh to pierce through of the darkness... yeah, that'll do nicely.
