POSITION: LM - PACE: 89 - DRIBBLING: 91 - SHOOTING: 82 - DEFENDING: 34 - PASSING: 84 - PHYSICAL: 64 Now wait just a minute. Eden Hazard is a terrific player of course, but is he really established and decisive enough to warrant an 88 rating this year? The Belgian makes the top ten ahead of the likes of Neymar, Gareth Bale and David Silva - and something doesn't add up in this humble opinion. Not to take anything away from Hazard's talents, but being ranked stronger than the likes of that trio without having reached a consistent level of performance is bizarre and incorrect.
9. Franck Ribéry - Bayern Munich (88)
POSITION: LM - PACE: 89 - DRIBBLING: 92 - SHOOTING: 78 - DEFENDING: 29 - PASSING: 85 - PHYSICAL: 62 After finishing third in the Ballon d'Or vote at the start of the year, its something of a surprise to see the Frenchman drop down the list. But having turned 31 recently and retiring from international football, perhaps things are catching up with the former Marseille man. He's still got excellent pace though, and when coupled with great feet and a mean shot this man is going to be as valuable as ever. However, expect this to be the start of Franck Ribéry's FIFA decline.
8. Bastian Schweinsteiger - Bayern Munich (88)
POSITION: CM - PACE: 61 - DRIBBLING: 82 - SHOOTING: 81 - DEFENDING: 78 - PASSING: 85 - PHYSICAL: 80 The big names from Bayern just keep on coming, and eighth on the list is new Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger. He's one of the most complete midfielders in the game and deservedly stays in the top ten, showcasing his talents in Brazil at the most important moments. As one of the most experienced players at the top of the world game, 'Schweini' fails to ever get shown up for his lack of pace by being better than everyone else, everywhere else on the pitch. He is a powerhouse that has top class ball skills, and a player out on his own in that department.
7. Luis Suarez - Barcelona (89)
POSITION: ST - PACE: 83 - DRIBBLING: 88 - SHOOTING: 87 - DEFENDING: 42 - PASSING: 79 - PHYSICAL: 79 Not even the most famous bite in world football could deny Luis Suarez his advance into FIFA's top ten this year. His performances for Liverpool put him in a world of his own during 2013/14, as he continually made our jaws drop in awe at his multitude of talents. If it wasn't for that momentary snap in his mind that occurs every so often, Suarez could have found himself in the top five this year. It's incredible the amount of games that the Uruguayan has missed through suspension - and just think how many goals he could have scored in that time!
6. Andrés Iniesta - Barcelona (89)
POSITION: CM - PACE: 75 - DRIBBLING: 91 - SHOOTING: 72 - DEFENDING: 59 - PASSING: 89 - PHYSICAL: 63 Midfield genius Andrés Iniesta had a tough season last year for both club and country, but after being so good for so long, EA remained happy to make the Spaniard one of the top six. He is a non-mover stats-wise from last year's game, but is expected to go on to improve in a new look Barcelona team over the course of the next eight months. Having just turned 30, the Catalan star still has some time left at the top, but his days are numbered unless he gets back to his brilliant best.
