FIFA 22 Review: 7 Ups & 5 Downs

1. Create-A-Club

FIFA 22
EA Sports

Here it is: FIFA 22's biggest Career Mode addition.

It's a genuine gas to create your own club, design their kit, design parts of their stadium and them begin building their legacy alongside pre-existing, recognisable brands. The chance to replace a club from any league in-game is another neat twist.

Want to boot Leyton Orient from the English football pyramid and work your way towards the big time? Do it. Fancy heading into the Premier League straight away? Have at it. There's still so much EA could do with Create-A-Club, but this is a great start. Hopefully, FIFA 23 will let gamers build their own stadiums completely from scratch though.

That's the dream.

This is something special for those coming over from Konami's classic Master League mode too. It offers the same kind of adventure, and it's legit tough to survive amongst the elite with a squad of jobbers - unless, of course, you set a huge transfer budget and go daft during the first summer window.
