Final Fantasy Tactics is a lot of fun, but Wiegraf is not.

Coming almost out of nowhere with no prior warning of what's about to happen, the Wiegraf boss fight in Riovanes Castle can result in your unprepared character being decimated very quickly.

One of the worst things about the fight for the unprepared is it'll give you the option to save just before it - if you take them up on that offer and you aren't able to effectively beat Wiegraf, there's no way to go back to level up further unless you have another save.

Weigraf hits hard, fast and you'll have to utilise tactics you probably haven't used before to beat him. One of the most recommended methods is to spam the tailwind ability and essentially run away from Wiegraf so you get loads more turns than he does. You'll still need a tonne of HP though, as Wiegraf can easily kill a player with less than 280 HP in a couple of turns.

The whole fight with Wiegraf is infamous amongst the Final Fantasy community because it's such an unfair difficulty spike that comes out of nowhere.
