Hitman: 10 WORST Ways To Die
9. Fugu'd
On the outset, this may seem pretty tame by Hitman's standards. In a series with remote explosives, homing briefcases and long-range rifles, it seems a little... lacking.
Yet in this instance, size really doesn't matter when it comes to making your target any deader.
Such is the power of the fugu fish kill that it's been used not once, twice but thrice in the series. First seen in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, the faff and preparation is worth the reward. Much like making it in the real world, I'd imagine.
The effects of mistakenly eating pufferfish liver, where the lethal tetrodotoxin is found, aren't quick and painless. Quite the opposite, in fact, ranging from the unpleasantness of vomiting and nausea to start with, right down to full-on paralysis almost an hour later.
It sounds like one of those experiences that a bullet to the head would be a mercy killing. But you know Hitman players: if it's too easy to do, it's not worth doing.
