4. Absolution's Contracts Mode Is Back
One of the fastest ways to ensure your game always has a fervent player base, is to include some element of customisation in terms of the levels themselves - just look at Minecraft, or Little Big Planet. To that end, IO designed a supremely cool mode called 'Contracts', that went on to be Absolution's standout feature - one overlooked almost entirely by many gamers.
Eurogamer note that Contracts
"should keep most players busy for weeks, providing the fundamentals hook your interest. This lets you set up and share bespoke hits by tagging any NPC and executing them while dressed a certain way and wielding a certain item. It's a mission editor, in other words, that requires you to be talented enough to pull off the feat you're proposing." IGN add that it's "quite simple to create and share your own hits by playing through the levels and marking NPCs as targets", before indulging in the various mission structures other players have created and uploaded. This should turn into Hitman 2016's biggest boon, as once you're done with the more story-focussed levels and challenges, Contracts will be there to provide endless replayability for as long as you're enjoying the levels themselves.
