5. Story Of The Monday Night Wars

If WWE aren't happy with 2K showering sole praise on a company that threatened to put Vince McMahon down and out in the '90s, then WCW could play a part in a Showcase looking at both sides of the coin. The famous 'Monday Night Wars' often made it impossible to choose between Raw is War and Monday Nitro, especially during an era lacking any on demand Networks.

Weaving an intricate tale of WWE's rise back to prominence has been done before in WWE 13's Attitude Era Mode, but there wasn't any scope to chart this other than loading screens that showed how the TV ratings changed. Imagine playing out a match between Stone Cold and The Undertaker, only to met with a 'meanwhile, on the other channel' message that switches to Hollywood Hogan and pals.

That kind of thing would be superb, and it's entirely possible. Seeing the moments that defined the war and being able to play through them would leave gamers old enough to recall it all salivating. WWE can boast about winning, of course, but not without telling the whole story.
