3. The Shield's Dominance

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (without any involvement from Roman Reigns, admittedly) have been throwing out hints on Raw that some sort of mini-Shield reunion could be on the cards. That trio were one of WWE's best ever factions, meaning they'd be perfect for a Showcase in WWE 2K18.

Crashing onto the scene at 2012's Survivor Series, The Shield ran rampant up until Rollins turned rogue on his buddies and joined The Authority in the summer of 2014. That near two-year stretch is worth playing through as a story, even more so if 2K extend it to include what happened after the actual break up itself.

Rollins, Ambrose, and Reigns have all been WWE Champion, so perhaps that's a good time to end the mode. Alternatively, 2K may just prefer to chart the rise of each man in NXT instead, thus giving context to their debut as a renegade band of ass-kickers that took WWE by storm.
