There's a reason why card-collecting modes like this lead to eye-rolling glances.

Fire up Madden, for example, and you’ll be met with constant reminders that giving EA more money for Ultimate Team is your duty as a gamer. 2K opts for a different approach. MyFaction pop-ups do occur when you launch the game, but they’re hardly intrusive and don’t hog screen real estate in between every match.

Time to allay some fears: If you’re in another mode and having the best time there, then MyFaction isn’t even mentioned. So, if you’re worried the card-collecting, microtransaction-baiting feature will become a pain, don’t be. You can completely ignore it if you want to. It just quietly exists as another mode in the game.

Beyond diving in for a quick glance, this writer hasn't even opened the thing. It isn't for him, but it might be for you. That's the beauty of WWE 2K24. There really is so much variety to all of the various modes on offer from the start.
