...this!

One of the biggest drawbacks to annual releases is that they’ll never be remarkably different from one another. Incremental improvements are law in this world, and WWE 2K24 does offer them in terms of new match types, gameplay tweaks and more. However, it isn't a strictly new experience.

The general outlook amongst play testers getting anywhere between 45-90 minutes of time with the thing seems to be that you’ll love it if you had a blast with 2K23. Tweaks to the gameplay and improvements to presentation (along with those tasty new match types and a whole host of other soon-to-be-revealed upgrades elsewhere) do make a difference, being fair.

2K are about to drop the definitive version of a journey they restarted with 2K22. The upcoming 2K24 is set to be the absolute best version of that reworked engine money can buy. So, if you want more 2K23 but with extras, then this is the wrestler for you.

Look out for a full review next month.
