Jon Moxley must be rubbing his knees reading this!

Seriously though, several reviewers have already noted how blood cakes and drips down a wrestler's face the more they're banged up mid-match. Claret also pools on the mat in a more realistic manner, and that gives ultra-violent match types like Hell In A Cell a bit more oomph visually.

You can still turn blood off if that suits better, but...wow, there's something special about seeing the impact of a vicious, hard-fought fight whilst playing. The wild thing about this is that WWE doesn't really feature blood in the modern era. Gamers are still fascinated by it despite that.

It doesn't look like there will be buckets of the red stuff, or anything, but it defo behaves a little differently to 2K23. That'll be a welcome thought for anyone who fancies tearing it up with a retro Universe save, or reigniting the original ECW flame as GM.
