2K’s lighting engine has become renowned for quality, and rightly so. Character models have looked best under the cascading lights or swirling, moody ambience in recent titles. That's why it's lovely to report that entrances are even smoother than before in 2K24. They've actually nailed the general atmosphere here.

The way Rhea Ripley stares down the camera lens, Cody Rhodes flashes a smile or Kevin Owens takes a deep breath before strolling down the aisle - it's all there. Each character comes to life when they're first introduced, and that hasn't always been a given with some of the lengthier entrances in the series past.

2K got the polish out, it seems.

This is sweet to see in an era when Madden is lambasted for samey presentation and EA Sports FC is deleting pre-match atmosphere completely on modern hardware. Setting the right tone is crucial, and it's something WWE 2K24 does extremely well before every single match.
