WWE 2K24 Review: 9 Ups & 4 Downs

8. That New Camera Angle

WWE 2K24 Royal Rumble New Camera Angle
2K Games

Strictly speaking, this isn't actually new for WWE games, but it is for 2K. Being able to swing the camera around to face the entrance is a lovely touch that conjures up images of the old SmackDown titles. This fan can't wait to download a Royal Rumble 2000 arena and reimagine the retro MSG setup too.

It's the little things in life.

It'd be awesome if 2K could expand on this and add even more angles to the lineup in future games. Saying that, being able to take complete control of the cam and go literally anywhere in the arena whilst waiting to enter a Rumble or watching an AI match is some laugh. Seriously, give that a bash.

Bizarrely, you can even go up and out of the stadium or through the floor and view the action from underneath. 2K will almost certainly patch that out of the game soon, so experiment whilst you can. Some of the visuals you can get playing around with the free roam cam = sensational.
