Argentinian footballer Carlos Tevez was no stranger to bouncing around with different clubs early in his pro career. After coming up with Boca Juniors, Tevez would spent a short amount of time with both Corinthians and West Ham United before being transferred on a loan to Manchester United in 2007.

Tevez didn't score quite as many goals (19 in 63 appearances) as the club had hoped, however. Two years after making his initial debut with Manchester United, Tevez became upset that he hadn't been offered a permanent contract by the Red Devils. When the offer did eventually come in the form of a five-year deal, Tevez announced that he wouldn't be signing.

On the other side of town, Manchester City was willing to give Tevez a five-year contract of their own, paying a reported £47 million in transfer fees to acquire his services. Tevez claimed that his decision to leave United "has not been about money although that is what some people believe." Manchester United fans didn't really believe that, and he's been very unpopular with the club's supporters ever since.

These days, Tevez isn't with Manchester City anymore, as he departed for Juventus and was also back with Boca Juniors before heading to China to play for Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Football Club.
