With Xavi, Iniesta, Silva and co, the Spanish side has always seemed blessed with a myriad of majestic midfielders, and Isco is set to be one of his nation's prime players for the tournament in Russia. The 26-year-old has struggled to get the game time his talents deserve at Real Madrid, but he still played over 40 times in all competitions this season, scoring 8 goals and creating 9 more.

At international level, Isco has become an increasingly important part of the Spanish side over the last couple of years and contributed to his nation's World Cup qualification with 5 goals, including a fantastic brace against Italy last September.

Earlier this year, he netted an impressive hat-trick in a friendly with Argentina, confirming his growing talent. Isco is hitting his peak form and has scored 10 goals in 26 appearances for Spain so far. The stage is set for him to be one of this World Cup's star players and he's got all the talent he needs to make that dream come true.
