5. Daniel Sturridge - Liverpool

When Liverpool captured Daniel Sturridge back in 2013, there were more than a few eyebrows raised as the Reds signed a player who had flattered to deceive at both Man City and Chelsea.

However, under Brendan Rodgers, Sturridge found his feet at Anfield and became an integral cog in the system for Liverpool. Yes, he failed to win the league with the Reds after going agonisingly close in the infamous Steven Gerrard slip year, but his impact was massive.

Alongside Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling, Sturridge helped himself to a bundle of goals as one of the most exciting front threes in the entire Premier League.

Injuries have hampered Sturridge's progress somewhat and he now finds himself over in Turkey after spending a largely unsuccessful spell with West Brom last season.
