10 Best Trash Talkers In UFC History
9. Khabib Nurmagomedov
The UFC Lightweight Champion is probably better known for his dominant wrestling style than his trash talk skills, but the Dagestani also knows how to deliver verbal barbs.
Despite English not being his first (or even second) language, The Eagle has left a big impression on fans for his hilarious personality.
Most fighters use media opportunities and press conferences to demean their opponent but not Khabib. In his fight with Michael Johnson at UFC 205, Khabib was storming towards a title shot and was not about to let Johnson get in his way.
Nurmagomedov decided to implement some trash-talk during the fight, to further demoralise the overmatched Johnson. In-between bursts of ground and pound, Khabib pleaded with his opponent to quit and not face any further punishment.
You have to give up. I need to fight for the title you know this I deserve it.
In between rounds, and with his current fight still very much ongoing, Khabib also decided to also direct his thoughts towards his boss, telling Dana White that he would 'smash his boy' referring to a potential matchup with him and Conor McGregor.
