7. Nick Diaz
Before Nate Diaz was the preeminent Stockon-born scrapper with high-level boxing and BJJ skills, his brother Nick was ruling the roost.
Defending the Strikeforce Welterweight title three times before signing with the UFC, Diaz became well-known, not only for his often-reckless fighting style but also for his outbursts and showmanship.
Diaz made it clear throughout his career that he was no fan of the media opportunities afforded to him by the fight game. In 2011 Diaz was removed from a fight with Georges St Pierre after missing several media events in the lead up to the contest.
Not being a fan of having to do media doesn't preclude Diaz from being an absolute quote machine however. When asked about a potential fight with Chael Sonnen, Diaz replied:

Alongside fighting, Diaz's other main passion in life is his marijuana. After receiving a long suspension for failing a post-fight drug test in 2012, Legend has it that Diaz was asked whether the rules on marijuana have negatively affected his MMA career, he replied:
On the contrary, my fight career has gotten in the way of my marijuana smoking
