10 Biggest Failures In The Premier League This Season (So Far)

4. Memphis Depay (Man Utd)

Perhaps it's a little bit harsh to include Memphis Depay in this list but the despite the midfielder's decent performances in Europe he has struggled to show his best ability in the Premier League. The attacker has the potential to be one of the best players in the world but he has looked a little bit of the pace during his first eight games and his fitness could certainly be improved. The Holland international has started every league game since his arrival from PSV, though it€™s telling that he has completed 90 minutes just three times and has been withdrawn at half-time in crucial matches against Liverpool and Arsenal. The 21-year-old was expected to set the league alight with his exceptional skills and ball carrying ability. Yes, he is still young and he will take time to adapt to the league but at the minute his tricks are not working and he is surrendering possession far too often.
