Carlos Tevez has never been one to shy away from controversy, in fact at times he seems he revels in it. His squabbles with Roberto Mancini made him an easy target for the media last season whilst his controversial West Ham deal is forever etched into the memory of Sheffield United. What made this transfer so shocking was not so much that Tevez had signed for a team hoping to win the Premiership, we all expected that, but it was the fact that he jumped from Manchester United to their nearest rivals Man City. Jumping from one rival another is a sure fire way to gain yourself at a passionate hatred at a former club and Tevez did it in style. His high profile falls out with Fergie topped with the now iconic Welcome to Manchester billboard have made him a target of many vitriolic chants from the Stretford End. His RIP Fergie sign at Manchester Citys title celebration was just the final tip on the iceberg for many of the United faithful.
