The fiancé of former UFC Heavyweight Pat Barry, she was runner up to MMA veteran Carla Esparza in the Ultimate Fighter finale. She has since submitted Angela Hill and incredibly highly hyped Paige Van Zant, both by Rear Naked Choke. At first glance Namajunas' 4-2 record does not scream 'top prospect' until you look at her record in detail and see Thug Rose has faced top competition since her debut and not tried to pad her record. She mixes up creative striking with a fantastic grappling game, especially dangerous with her chokes but has an amazing flying armbar victory in only her 2nd professional fight. Training at Grudge Training Center with top coaches, Namajunas is very likely to hold the Women's Strawweight Title at some point in her career.
