In this day and age, with most football fans being equipped with smart phones and high-tech cameras constantly being pointed at the stands, you wouldn't imagine that any football player would be crazy enough to plant themselves amongst their rival club's supporters.

However, back in 1999, life-long Toon fan and former Newcastle United player Lee Clark clearly didn't care about getting caught and decided to wear a 'Sad Mackem B*stards' t-shirt whilst dancing around with the black and white crowd during their FA Cup final outing.

Being a Sunderland player at that moment in time, Clark was quickly dropped from the team once images surfaced of him wearing the aforementioned explicit item of clothing. He would never play for the Mackem side again and was ultimately allowed to move to Fulham.

He later admitted he made a mistake joining Sunderland in the first place and had been speaking to manager Peter Reid about potentially leaving the club in the near future.

Clark would eventually rejoin his beloved Newcastle after six years at Fulham, making 25 appearances and scoring once during the 2005-2006 season before retiring in 2007.
