1. Sergio Aguero Wins City The Title
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpqgBONonE8 There is every chance that we will never see a repeat of the drama we witnessed on the final day of the 2011/12 Premier League title race. It was absolute unbridled joy for one set of fans, and misery for another. For once, it was United on the receiving end in that respect. City knew that they just had to beat Queens Park Rangers at the Etihad to clinch their first ever Premier League title. The Rs were looking to avoid relegation, which they did in the end, and everyone strongly fancied Roberto Mancini's side to win easily. The first-half got a little nervy at times, but when Pablo Zabaleta made it 1-0 before the break it looked like job done. United were winning at Sunderland, knowing three points were imperative in order to stand any chance of an unlikely title win. City's dream day suddenly turned into the nightmare of all nightmares after the break, however, as goals from Djibril Cisse and Jamie Mackie turned the game on its head. Mancini's men suddenly needed two goals, and many in the ground were in meltdown. With just a few minutes remaining, Edin Dzeko's header gave them slight hope. With United having won, City knew a goal was needed, and it was left to Sergio Aguero to produce the most dramatic moment in Premier League history. The brilliant striker played a one-two with Mario Balotelli, before firing a close-range shot past Paddy Kenny and into the net. The scenes of joy were almost beyond description, and a club who had suffered so much at the hands of their local rivals down the years finally had one over on them. It was a moment that still makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up to this day, regardless of whether you are a City fan or not.
