8. Sergio Aguero
The prolific Argentinian is a hot favourite for the award this time out, having scored an impressive 23 goals in 2011-12, before injury hampered his 2012-13 season. However, he is clearly one of the most talented strikers in the Premier League, and a sustained period of fitness could see him mount a challenge at the Golden Boot. Injury remains a key concern for both him and Manchester City, and he will have to avoid a spell on the sidelines if he is to have a realistic chance at challenging Van Persie's crown. Game time is also an issue, with Tevez, Negredo, and Jovetic all vying for a starting place at Eastlands as well, it'll take an early run of form to ensure he even keeps a place in a star-studded City squad.
