7. Christian Benteke
The surprise package of 2012-13, the young Aston Villa striker came in with a slew of goals towards the later end of the season to end up 4th in the Golden Boot race with a staggering 19 strikes on his first season in the Premier League, beating the club record previously held by Dwight Yorke. Certainly a very dangerous possibility for the Golden Boot, and Aston Villa will be relying on him to stay fit as they aim to secure a good league position. Definitely one to watch here, but his relatively young age, and second-season syndrome may be factors against him in this regard. Nevertheless, an exciting prospect!
