11 years Shay Given spent at Newcastle United and despite eventually leaving the club for Manchester City in 2009 the Irish goalkeeper has practically no silverware to show for his efforts. This is a real shame. Given was arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and Newcastle understandably rejected offers from Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool during his time at the club. After eventually signing for City, the shot-stopper made 50 appearances in Manchester and won an FA Cup title in 2011. He left the club in 2011 for Aston Villa and after a loan spell at Middlesborough, Given signed for Stoke City in 2015.
