10 Greatest Quarterbacks Of All Time

8. John Elway - Denver Broncos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQecaYSKsB0 The 1983 NFL draft will forever be known as "The Quarterback Class of '83." It was the first, and only time, that six quarterbacks were taken in the first round. Elway kicked things off at number one, and was followed by an impressive list, including future Hall of Famers Dan Marino and Jim Kelly. During his lenghty career Elway led the Broncos to five Super Bowl appearances, including back to back victories at Super Bowl XXXII and XXXIII. At the time of his retirement he held the NFL record for most wins by a quarterback, at 148, but has since been surpassed by Brett Favre. Often considered to have one of the strongest throwing arms in NFL history, Elway currently sits fourth all time in career yards thrown, with a total of 51,475 yards. Don't be fooled though, Elway wasn't afraid to make a dash out of the pocket. He finished his career with 774 rushing attempts, one shy of the record for quarterbacks, and his 3,417 rushing yards ranks him sixth all time among quarterbacks.
