10 Hardest Ever Chelsea Players

1. Vinnie Jones

Yes, you did read that correctly. Vinnie Jones, for little over one season, was a Chelsea player. The footballer-turned-actor spent a short period of his playing career at Stamford Bridge, during the 1991/92 season. Even if Jones had made only one substitute appearance for the Blues€™, I have no doubt he would find a way onto this list. That being said, he played over 40 games during his short stint at the club. Jones played alongside another member of the list, Dennis Wise, in the Chelsea midfield. The infamous €˜Crazy Gang€™ member was the subject of many tabloid articles throughout his career, and was infamous for his on-field antics. A highlight of his time at the Bridge came against Liverpool, scoring a dipping half-volley against the Merseyside team. This was in stark comparison to another of his €˜highlights€™ at the club, when he was booked against Sheffield United after fouling a player only three seconds into the game. A hard man of both football and film, controversy seemingly followed Jones wherever he went. A Chelsea legend he may not be, but a hard man €“ if not the hardest €“ he is.
