Premier League champions Manchester United went to White Hart Lane in 2001 and found themselves 3-0 down at half time. Spurs and their fans were jubilant - this was one of the best performances they'd ever seen from their team and arguably the outright best performance of the Premier League era. A debut goal from the late Dean Richards and further strikes from Les Ferdinand and Christian Ziege seemingly put Spurs out of reach, but a scintillating second half United performance broke the Lilywhites' hearts. Goals from Andy Cole, Laurent Blanc, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Juan Sebastian Veron and David Beckham saw the Red Devils decimate their previously dominant hosts, in one of the finest comebacks in Premier League history.
