Gate: $2,053,990 Another high selling UFC event and yet another Brock Lesnar fight the heavyweight must be considered to be by far the biggest PPV draw in UFC history. Indeed, Dana White must be praying for the day that Lesnar once again defects from the WWE and re-enters the Octagon. The Lesnar-Carwin fight was of particular interest to fans as for the first time in his career Brock would be fighting someone even bigger than him. Like Lesnar, the 62 Carwin always weighed-in at the upper limit of the heavyweight division and was known for using his gigantic fists to smash his luckless opponents and end the fight quickly. Lesnar, however, had different ideas. In his second title-defence, Brock proved that he was much more than a powerhouse with no technical skills. After all, the heavyweight champion is a former NCAA Division I Champion. Lesnar weathered the early storm from Carwin before using his superior cardio and athleticism to take Shane down and submit him in an arm triangle choke.
