Given the aforementioned every event involving Lesnar, it is hard to deny that the appeal of the former heavyweight champion wasnt the main force driving people to their wallets. In his much-anticipated rematch with Frank Mir, Lesnar was able to avoid the BJJ black belts submission game and impose his strength advantage, en route to a second round TKO. Brock Lesnar was certainly not the only PPV draw though. The UFC very much put all their eggs in one basket by putting their other biggest draw Georges St-Pierre on the same card, going up against knockout-artist Thiago Alves. GSP was able to do what St-Pierre always does; take Alves down and stiffle him to earn a unanimous decision from the judges (5045, 5044, 5045). This event is also remembered for one of the most brutal KO victories of all time as Dan Henderson uncorked his legendary H-Bomb right hand on rival TUF coach Michael Bisping.
