Spurs are renowned for playing a free-flowing, attacking brand of football - the kind associated with players like David Ginola and Gareth Bale - but in recent seasons that style has been hampered by managers like Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood and, as a result, the club have performed poorly by their standards in the league and they've looked boring doing it. Now, in Mauricio Pochettino, they have a manager whose style of play is more reminiscent of that which Spurs are associated with and, so far, it is working - and that's just after three games. If skilful and forward-thinking players like Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen completely adapt to the new tactics in the coming weeks, Spurs could be electric - and even the defence could benefit from it, as full backs always like to get forward and, in the likes of Younes Kaboul, Jan Vertonghen and the incoming Federico Fazio, Spurs even have centre backs who like to run forward in to space. Essentially, if Spurs can get back to their classic ways under their new boss, they'll improve vastly on recent campaigns.
