Throughout the years, Liverpool Football Club have seen some wonderful players join their ranks. There have been signings who, although maybe not the most naturally gifted, have given their all for the good of the club without causing a second of trouble- the likes of Dirk Kuyt and Jordan Henderson immediately spring to mind- those who have issues but you ignore it because of their ability, and those who have reached true greatness in a Reds shirt despite being far from perfect in terms of behaviour. A certain Uruguayan, perhaps? While players of this ilk are all well and good, there have been many players to have donned the famous Red shirt who have simply been a complete waste of time. They were invariably courted by the club over many months, but when they actually arrived on Anfield they carried far too much baggage to ever be success. Whether it's constant behavioural issues, injury woes or outrageous wage demands, we have had our fair share of problem players.
