Watching a darts player take the fabled walk down the tunnel to a soundtrack of hard German rave, the theme to a horror movie or a mawkishly sentimental 1960s ballad is a crucial part of the darts experience. In fact, darts could teach the WWE a thing or two about how to make an entrance. It sets the tone to ridiculous; forget what happens in the real world, this is a land where anything can happen, where the only rule that applies is staying two inches behind the line as you throw your dart, where Bobby George is the overlord and there are ten skinny Batmans down the front singing "let's go mental" while knocking back copious amounts of lager. The dubious honour of intro song king goes to Peter Wright who boogies on to Pitbull's "Don't Stop The Party" before hurling his bulky frame around the stage, classic drunk-uncle-at-wedding style.
