10 Most Capped Players At World Cup 2018

9. Taisir Al-Jassim (132) - Saudi Arabia

Regarded as one of the very best Saudi Arabian players of his generation, Taisir Al-Jassim has made 132 appearances for his country, scoring 19 times along the way. A talented midfielder, the 33-year-old has spent most of his club career with Saudi side Al-Ahli, winning several cups and individual awards over the years.

A smart footballer, Al-Jassim is well-known for his vision and creativity, as well as being a hard-working midfielder who can play in both offensive and defensive roles, but tends to demonstrate his best football when given freedom to roam forward and create chances for his teammates.

Al-Jassim is one of Saudi Arabia's most important players, and he proved his worth in a recent friendly against World Champions Germany, scoring a consolation goal in a respectable 2-1 loss. That goal will have given him plenty of confidence and we could see him score once or twice this summer as Saudi Arabia try to get out of the relatively weak Group A.
