Brazil haven't quite been their usual selves so far this summer. Some of that is down to Neymar's theatrics, a little is due to some of their midfielders getting overwhelmed by the opposition, and a chunk of responsibility has to go to the South Americans' number 9, Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus is a top quality player who could easily go on to become a world class star. From humble beginnings, he's already made it to the top of the game, leading his country's strike force and helping Manchester City enjoy a whirlwind Premier League campaign at the tender age of 21. However, Jesus hasn't quite lived up to the billing at the World Cup just yet.

He's missed a couple of really big chances and has found it difficult to get involved in his side's attacking moves. He had just one shot in each of the games against Switzerland and Serbia, and fared a little better against Costa Rica but failed to convert his chances, hitting the woodwork on one notable occasion. A Brazilian number 9 needs to be a reliable goalscorer, but Brazil are having to depend on Neymar and Coutinho to see them through so far and Jesus needs to improve.
