10 Most Unfortunate MMA Injuries Of 2014

10. Holly Holm Withdraws From UFC 181

Holly Holm was a big signing for the UFC in 2014, a key addition to the women's bantamweight division that many feel could really test champion Ronda Rousey. Holm is undefeated in her MMA career, and is an elite level boxer who has won multiple titles in that sport and boasts a 33€“2€“3 record there (she's 7-0 in her MMA career). Despite all the commotion around her signing and the fact that Ronda Rousey has said she wants to fight her, Holm has yet to debut in the UFC - thank in large part to injury. When she signed with the promotion, she was healing up a broken hand suffered in her final non-UFC fight. However, after being linked to a fight at UFC 181, she was injured again. The nature of the injury was not disclosed, but Holm was pulled from the card, and her debut date is unknown.
