10 Most Unique Sports You Won't Believe Exist

2. Dog Dancing

Dog dancing. As in dancing with a dog. Dog dancing is a recognised sport. Not just that but it has numerous governing organisations in multiple countries.

To be fair it does take a good deal of practice and cooperation for two humans to convincingly portray chemistry and work in tandem to produce something bigger than the two of them. And that's two humans who ideally speak the same language and hold the same opinions about drinking from a toilet. But once again it's dancing with a dog, this point cannot be over-emphasised.

'Canine freestyle' as it's sometimes called has a litany of variations and rule sets. 'What is the purest form of the sport' no one asks, is it aided, lead? Costumes and props? No, of course not; that would make a joke of the fine sport of dog dancing, the sport of king...Charles spaniels. Dog dancing is just baffling, especially if you watch the variations with the aforementioned costumes and props, and skirts the line between adorable and cruel.
