10 Most Unpredictable Goalkeepers Of All Time

3. Artur Boruc

The only active player on this list, Artur Boruc is one of the few goalkeepers keeping the attributes embodied in this list alive in the modern era.

Starting his career at Legia Warsaw, Boruc demanded to take a penalty in a 6-0 win against Widzew Łódź. After converting, Boruc ran over to the corner flag, waving it around before being booked for over-celebrating.

Known for his devout Catholicism, Boruc earned the nickname 'Holy Goalie' while at Celtic. Also during his time with the Bhoys, Boruc made his disdain for local rivals Rangers clear. The Pole even refused to shake hands with Rangers players following an Old Firm derby. When asked why he didn't, he told a Polish newspaper:

"I don't have to like anybody - and I don't. I don't like them, I don't like the club and I don't like the players - end of story ... We are enemies. We are fighting for the title and any form of friendship is out of the question."

Not content with just verbally disparaging Rangers, Boruc made the curious decision to get a tattoo with the club's name on it to display his utter contempt for The Gers.

The keeper hasn't slowed down with his eccentricity though, releasing this bizarre dancing video in 2015.
