Wilt Chamberlain was a territorial pick of the then Philadelphia Warriors in 1959. Coming off a one year stint with the Harlem Globetrotters, Wilt Chamberlain was a force unlike anything the NBA had ever seen. As a rookie, he averaged 37 points and 27 rebounds per game. Those are numbers that would seem absurd in a video game, let alone real life. In his third NBA campaign, he set the NBA record for most points averaged in a single season at 50.4 points per game and most points in a single game with 100 on March 2, 1962.

However, young Wilt was more focused on personal achievements than winning championships, and he saw little success in his run with the Warriors. In 1965, Wilt was granted a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers and the team was happy to oblige. Back in Philly, Wilt finally won his first NBA Championship in 1967.

In 1968, Wilt was granted yet another trade, this time leaving Philadelphia for Los Angeles, where he felt a star of his caliber truly belonged. On the Lakers, Wilt won his second and last championship in 1972.
