Emmanuel Sanders certainly wasn't in the worst position wide receivers can find themselves in when Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos and Tom Brady's New England Patriots were scrambling for his signature. Sanders had signed an offer sheet with the Patriots in 2013 but his team at the time, the Pittsburgh Steelers, matched that, though there was more interest from the Patriots in 2014, though a deal couldn't be thrashed out from the financial side, with Sanders looking for a big pay day. Instead, he landed in Denver and racked up 1,404 receiving yards, the fifth highest total in the league, and a real signal of intent for the rest of his career.
