Liverpool have a long and illustrious history, and inevitably have produced some wonderful players over the years both in terms of homegrown talents - like Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen and Jamie Carragher - and marquee signings - Kenny Dalglish, John Barnes, Sami Hyypia and Luis Suarez.
