10 Players Spurs Should Go In For In January

1. Wilfried Bony (Swansea City)

It was said all summer that Spurs were looking to sign Wilfried Bony from Swansea City - and when they went in for Michel Vorm and Ben Davies, and Gylfi Sigurdsson went the other way, you felt as though the business relationship between the two clubs would make it very possible. Then, when Swansea signed Bafétimbi Gomis to ease the blow of Bony€™s potential sale, it looked a near certainty that he would leave the club. However, he is still there and Spurs should definitely try to sign him in January. Bony cost Swansea £12 million when he joined from Eredivisie side Vitesse last summer €“ a club for whom he scored 46 goals in 65 league appearances in the Eredivisie - and it is believed he would command a £20 million fee if he was to leave the club. The Ivory Coast star impressed beyond everyone€™s wildest expectations upon his arrival, scoring 25 goals in all competitions, sixteen of which came in the Premier League. The Ivory Coast star also scored twice at this summer€™s World Cup €“ hitting the back of the net against both Japan and Greece in the group stage €“ and has played in all four of Swansea's league matches so far this season without scoring yet. So there you have it - ten players Spurs should go in for in January. Did you enjoy this article? Do you agree with the entries on this list?
