What makes his impressive Champions League showing against Bayern Munich so impressive is that it was his first ever outing in the Champions League becoming the first ever player to debut in the final. However, none of this changes the fact that he is woefully average, and incredibly lucky to still be receiving a wage from one of the biggest clubs in England.
