Another defender capable of filling multiple positions on the field, Facundo Roncaglia was a regular member of Boca Juniors' back line until switching to Fiorentina in 2012. A loan spell at Genoa has earned Roncaglia regular first team football, and his performances were enough to convince Gerardo Martino to select him for the upcoming tournament. A key issue here, however, is age. At 28, it could be argued that Roncaglia should have achieved far more in his career than he has. Hopefully this summer is a turning point.
