The next big thing to come out of Germany, 22-year-old Timo Werner looks set to terrorise defences from all around the world this summer and beyond, with the RB Leipzig man being one of the most ruthless German forwards to emerge in recent years.

He's scored 34 league goals in 63 games for Leipzig and has broken several Bundesliga records in a spectacular rise to stardom. On the international stage, his strike rate has been just as impressive, with the former Stuttgart man netting 8 times in just 14 appearances. He scored 7 goals in European competition last season as Leipzig made it to the quarter finals of the Europa League, and he also made history when he scored in the club's first ever win against German giants Bayern Munich.

He won the Golden Boot award at the 2017 Confederations Cup, which Germany won, and looks set to lead the line for Die Mannschaft as they attempt to win back-to-back World Cups. A highly talented striker with fantastic finishing power, Werner will have a great chance to demonstrate his skills this summer and seems to handle high-pressure games very well.
