10 Players Who Could Win The World Cup 2018 Golden Ball Award
6. Harry Kane - England
For the first time in a long time, England can boast of a truly world class player among their ranks. With his scoring record, it's easily arguable that Tottenham's Harry Kane would walk into the first 11 of almost any other country attending this summer's World Cup, and he represents one of England's best chances of having a good tournament.
The 24-year-old has broken all sorts of records in recent years, scoring a simply unbelievable number of goals. In 2017, he netted a whopping 56 times, more than the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He's been in the PFA Team of the Year for the last four seasons, and as long as he's on the pitch, England fans will have reasons to be optimistic this summer.
He's scored 13 times in 24 appearances for the Three Lions so far, and this will be his first World Cup. He did appear at Euro 2016 and failed to score, but that was partly due to Roy Hodgson's bizarre strategy of making Kane England's primary corner-taker. This summer, he will be the focal point of the Three Lions' attack and hopes are high that he can have a great tournament.
